Our church is a Southern Baptist Church in Bethany, striving to live out the Biblical command  to love God and each other as ourselves. This means worshiping and following Jesus Christ not only through our words, but also through the lives we lead. We subscribe to the Baptist Faith & Message 2000.

We began in 1903 when a tent was erected on the Noll lots, a block northeast of our first church building. A call was made for all Baptist people to assemble in the tent for the purpose of organizing a Baptist Church. Twenty-nine people desired to be members. The church became known as First Baptist Church of Bethany, Missouri.
